Characteristics
Plants large, 30 – 50 cm in length. Main axis stout,
cells 360 (200 to 250) in diameter
and 2 to 5 diameters in length, sparingly branched; ultimate
indefinite branches with densely fasciculate ramuli, 1.5 to 3.0 mm
in length, crowded near their tips, somewhat pectinate in arrangement;
cells of ramuli 70 t0 120 in diamtere and 1 to 3.5 diameter
in length.
